  how can I try to find a lost freind that may have been DF'd?

  can anyone tell me how they may approach this situation?

  you've been out for a while and you move far away.

  plenty of time passes by and you know by the odds at least some of those friends you had growing up as a witness should be df'd or they've disassociated them selves.

  i was told not to even look at them when i studied, but i did not buy the satan stuff about them and said well what have the watchtower got to worry about if they have the truth and no skeletons in the closet ?

  i was quite tempted to speak to them and felt rude and judgemental , what did you used to think about them when you were dubs in the trufff ?

  A how cool would it be if we could come up with a picture and name system where an apostate can use it at a hall. So what we do is set up a network of apostates with a picture w/ the name of one of the loved ones that is considering on leaving and have them really hit the home run message with a dirrect hit. That form of approach would surely be a head turner. Let's see, it has to be short sweet and to the point, how about "George Stevens your living a lye" Or "Jim Olson your life is being stolen from you" Or "Sandy Smith we know what you did last summer"

  I checked out Beef heart on the tube I'm surprised that I liked it. Thanks. That chanting stuff...I don't know, I guess I'm still deprogramming. My favorite I'd say would be dance or techno. Either that or the only thing I only listen to is talk radio. I'm a huge talk radio Buff.

  i wonder what percentage of current jw's know it's not the truth but have too much invested to get out?

  more importantly, how many of the gb know but have no where else to go?.

  I was going to say around 25%, but thinking about it more, the tower does a great job in the recruting process, I mean there all about the sale. You put enough publications out there with lead sales men you will recycle the loss fairly quick. If its one thing they've done for me at all its making me a great sales man. So I'd say your about right to be at the 40% range.

  i don't mean the ones we know about already - things people wouldn't think you did or enjoyed to look at you.. i love watching ray mears extreme survival and learning about how to survive and find food and shelter in extreme climates even though there is a strong possibility that i shall never try and escape naked from a japanese prisoner of war camp, or crash without a flagon of water into the sahara, or come stuck in my ship in a freezing ice plateau in deepest antartica.

Maybe if I called the hall with a voice changer every week going down my list of friends, asking one at a time every week to see if their there. Nuts... maybe, unless you guy's may have a better solution. Tula if there is anything wrong with paragragh as I'm sure there is, I'm sorry.

  this chart is out of date and i am wondering if anyone can find more contemporary statistics?.

  i am wondering if there is some way possible for wbts to be billed for medical expenses caused by the psychological harm inflicted when dubs end up in dr. offices or hospital as a result of spiritual trauma and spiritual warfare?.

  seems to me that we could make them take some responsibility.. (i am not providing the link because this is second-hand information).

  Rosalee, psychiatry is a field J' W's except, this scares the bee gee’s out of me. There's not one cure that a psychiatrist can claim. It's black and white that psychiatry is just another way humans have to have there hold on everything. They call everything a disease. It’s all a big excuse they use to cover up all the stress issues brought by this W.T. society. When you die and they cut you open the autopsy of your brain will show if there is any damage to it right. They have never found any physical abnormalities yet from anything a psychiatrist claims they have. That goes for Bipolar disorders, anxiety attacks, any emotional or even having Schizophrenia they can’t prove nothing. It’s all about the money, and ignorance. Psychiatry is a multi billion dollar market. Give a pill, cover your problem up, and hope for the best is how I see them working.

  when i was in the organisation was in a few different congs.

  every one always had a good proportion of them that claimed they had "me".

  not sure what they call it in the states but think chronic fatigue may be similar.it had an age range between young teenagers and midle aged ones.

  My parents had an elder come to my house to leave me publications and also an explanation that I may have a bipolar disorder and there may be medications to help me. They said if I wanted to I could be evaluated by a doctor, my parents would pay they said. Don't get me wrong I'm sure allot of people really need that form of help but in my case I saw it as my family trying to get me back in, one of there many attempts. I refused and showed them out.

  in the 1960s my mother and father came to this country knowing one language, one religion, and what hard work ethics were.

  they were in a complete aw of what america was like.

  they came here with very little knowledge and very little monies, so wed be safe to say that they were very gullible right.

  I sense you may want to vent Tula, especially if your out there trying to judge ones flaws, it's a large sign your wanting to release. Have you ever considered talking about it, I'm no psych but would love to try and help? And I've only been speaking english for around 15 years, sorry again.
